We have never had a dog with as much arousal and drive as this little girl. She wants to work! rain or shine, snow or heat, this little one wants to run and find the birds. She has a very attractive intense point, great field cover and ability to search objectives. Her nose is phenomenal and will point a bird from 50 yards away with 3-5mph winds. We are working on her steady to wing and shot. And she is a natural retriever.
We gained all 4 of her qualifying runs for her Junior Hunter Title in one weekend! Her average score was 9/10. We are looking into some field trials in the future with a another season of wild birds under her belt.
This year we attended a couple NSTRA trials and really got the bug, she ran a few times and got some decent scores for a baby just over a year of age. We really look forward to more fun times with this venue.
